19th Biennale of Sydney: You Imagine What You Desire

On March 30th 2014, I visited the 19th Biennale of Sydney which i captured few interesting shots using my smartphone HTC One and Lomography camera ( which is yet to get develop). This year the Biennale of Sydney's theme is "You Imagine What You Desire.

There are many interesting artworks this year, Callum Morton's 'The Other Side' is the highlight of the exhibition to me as its an interactive work, Callum Morton transformed the Cockatoo Island's Dog Leg tunnel into an experiential train journey. I don't want to ruin the surprise of the train so please go experience it! Remember to arrive early towards the Dog Leg tunnel gate, collect ticket from the volunteer, as per ride only have the capacity for 12 people.

Biennale Of Sydney is a three-month (21 March – 9 June 2014) art exhibition featuring over 200 Australia's contemporary visual artworks, it is a non-profit event. This year the 19th Biennale works with the Sydney Harbour Federation and is located on World heritage listed Cockatoo Island.

Information about the exhibition:

Exhibition time: 21 March- 9 June 2014- Free entry

Transportation :Ferry or water taxi- your wharf to Cockatoo Island, check the Sydney Ferry timetable for more detail.

Food :There are at least five cafes/restaurants on Cockatoo Island, however I would recommend packing some foods and drinks before heading to Cockatoo Island so you won't have to wait in lines and pay for food that is relatively more expensive than what you can purchase outside the Island.
