SHEgram No.8
I recently relocated from Sydney to Taipei, and this post will be featuring moments I captured last month in Sydney. Sydney has always been my hometown for the past 14 years and it feels weird to leave a place you know so well, to a place you sort of have a basic understanding about. I have been feeling overwhelmed by this new experience, therefore I tried to gain as much opinion or other's experience about moving from one country to another as possible. AND a book hit me really hard and made me realized that change is never bad, it opens up other doors for new or even better things to come into your life.
"The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying" by Marie Kondo is a great book not only for minimalism, decluttering but also life lessons. A chapter in the book captured my eyes, Cherish who you are now- I realized it is not our memories but the person we have become because of those past experiences that we should treasure. Who we are now is far more important than the stuff that we kept from the past. It made me feel a lot better about leaving Sydney because it is already part of me and made me who I am today.
Here are the moments I captured.
